Beat the Pressure

  • Manage your time efficiently while at office. It is important to communicate with colleagues, but let such activities not eat into your work time. Concentrate on your work and leave office on time so that you make time for socialising too. 
  • Take a five-minute break every hour. Drink water at frequent intervals to keep body fresh. Do stretching and bending to keep muscles flexible. Check out exercises that can be done at the work place.
  • Set realistic goals. Put in your best, but let not your desire for perfection get the better of you.
  • Spend quality time both at the workplace and home. Do not think about home while at work and vice versa.
  • If you are unhappy with the work assigned to you, speak to your boss. Sometimes it is important to say 'no'.
  • Practice discipline to your life. Eat, sleep and work in time.
